Ruby Elaine (Collier) McFarland

Ruby Elaine McFarland, 81 of Eolia, passed away Thursday, July 18, 2024 at the Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Healthcare Center. Elaine was the daughter of the late Foister and Edith Blair Collier. She was the widow of Richard McFarland. Surviving is 2 daughters: Tena Galyen of Berea and Sylvia McFarland of Eolia; 5 stepchildren: James McFarland of Whitesburg, Darlene Sturgill of Mt. Sterling, Nora Sturgill of Eolia, Melissa Patterson of Eolia and Emmitt McFarland of Eolia; 2 brothers: Fred (Norma) Collier of Eolia and Ray (Betty) Collier of Michigan; 3 sisters: Tena (Stewert) Stidham of Arkansas, Penny (Johnny) Gilliam of Oklahoma and Ruthie (Dale) Dickerson of Eolia; 8 grandchildren: Brandi, Jason, Zak, Kimberly, Kelly Daniel, Johnny, Tabitha and Josh; a host of great grandchildren; special pet: Lola McFarland. Elaine was preceded in death by 1 grandchild: Moscoe Taylor Jr.; 1 sister: Faye Halberstadt. Funeral: Funeral: 1:00 O'clock P.M. Sunday, July 21, 2024 at the Rockvine Church. Visitation: 9:00 A.M. Saturday at the Rockvine Church. Burial will follow in the Ballard Collier Cemetery at Eolia, Kentucky.
