Rufus Scott Garrett, 47 of Neon, passed away Monday, July 1, 2024 at his residence. Rufus was the son of Jack Pierce Garrett and the late Myra Jane Irvin. Surviving other than his father is 1 son: Braxton Potter of Hemphill; 1 brother: Jack William Garrett of Virginia; 1 sister: Mary Carter (Brian) of Virginia; godchildren: Corbyn Whitaker and Camdyn Whitaker; nieces: Haley Mays of Virginia; nephew: Cory Kiser of Virginia. Memorial Service at a later date.
