Sammy Elswick

Sammy Elswick, 72 of Jenkins, passed away Sunday November 12, 2023 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Center. Sammy was the son of the late Dee and Lizzie Craft Elswick. He was a member of the Jenkins City Council. Surviving is his wife of 51 and 1/2 years: Debbie; 2 Sons: Sammy (Shellie) Elswick of Kimberly Alabama, Michael (Amber) Elswick of Jenkins; 1 Daughter: Ashley (Josh) Gibbs of Jenkins; 4 Brothers: Tommy Elswick of Kona, Danny Elswick of Gray Tennessee, Eddie Elswick of Kona, Freddie Craft of Kona; 1 Sister: Linda Bartley of Ashcamp; 8 Grandchildren: Reanna (Owen) Peacock, Makayla (Ethen) Cummings, Mackenzie, Hannah, Kinzleigh, Emilia, Greyson, Levi; 1 Great Grandchild: Daxton along with a host of friends and relatives to mourn his passing. He was preceded in Death by 1 Grandson: Jackson. Funeral 7:00 O'clock P.M. Tuesday November 14, 2023 at the Millstone Missionary Baptist church with Bill Craft and Jeff Hart Officiating. Visitation 6:00 O'clock P.M. Tuesday November 14, 2023 at the Millstone Missionary Baptist Church.
