Sharon Brown Obituary

Sharon K. Akers Brown of Kingscreek, went home to be with Jesus on Sunday, April 10th 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Sharon was born to Quenton and Verna Fields Day on March 21st 1944. Sharon retired from the KY Department of Human Services. She split her time between her home in Tennessee and her home in Kentucky. She loved her family, reading the Bible and her fur baby Cocoa. Sharon was a member of Kingscreek Community Chapel Church.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, her brother: O'neil Day, her sister: Patricia Meade and her niece Heather Mitchell.

She is survived by her husband: Rick Brown; her son: Rusty (Tori) Akers of Talbott, TN and her daughter Laverna (Chad) Collie of Roxana. Sharon is survived by her beloved granddaughters: Daianara (Hunter) Branham of Lexington, Callie Akers of Talbott, TN and Ella Akers of Talbott, TN. Additionally she is survived by her niece: Tammy Mitchell, her nephews: Scott Meade, Quincy Meade and Patrick Meade and the father of her children Russell Akers.

Funeral: 12:00 O'clock Noon Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at the Kingscreek Community Chapel Church with Jimmy Dotson and Johnny Banks officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Monday at the Kingscreek Community Chapel Church. Burial will follow in the Meade Cemetery at Cowan, Kentucky.
