Sherry Ann Whitaker,68 of Ermine, passed away Thursday, October 17, 2024 at the Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Healthcare Center. Sherry was the daughter of Gertrude Hall Barnett of Ermine and the late James David Barnett Sr. Surviving other than her mother is her husband: Jimmy Whitaker; 1 daughter: Jamie (Larry Christopher) Back of Blackey; 1 brother: Alex Barnett of Ermine; 1 sister: Carol (Donald) Sexton of Ermine; 2 grandchildren: Josh Long and Will Long. Sherry was preceded in death by 1 brother: James David Barnett Jr. No Services will be held.
