Shirell (Cole) Little

Shirell Little, 74 of Jackson ky, born December 30, 1950, passed away peacefully on January 5, 2025. A devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Shirell’s warmth, kindness, and gentle spirit touched all who knew her. She was a shining example of love and compassion, always putting others before herself and spreading joy wherever she went.

Shirell is survived by her husband Chris Little, her two loving sisters, Judy Farris and Wanda Bailey; her cherished daughter, Christina Roberts; and her treasured grandchildren, Sean Pennington, Josh Pennington, Jake Montgomery, Savanna Montgomery, Jenna Montgomery, Briana Roberts, Brad Roberts, and Anthony Roberts. She also leaves behind a large extended family and a community of friends who were blessed by her presence.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Silas and Maggie (King) Cole; her eight brothers, Herlis, Harold, Phillip, Paul, Garland, Gerald, Burl, and Silas Jr.; five sisters, Mable, Brenda, Fannie, and twin babies May and June; her two children, April Pennington and Anthony Montgomery; and her granddaughter, Grace Montgomery.

Shirell’s life was defined by her selfless love for her family and friends. She found her greatest joy in the time she spent with her loved ones, and her legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew her.
