Steven James Perry

Steven James Perry, son of the late Willie Perry and Zandra Addington Perry, was born March 14, 1979. He departed this life February 21, 2024 being 44 years, 11 months and 7 days old. He married the love of his life, Jessie Adams Perry, on July 30, 2002. Steve loved music and was an accomplished musician playing several instruments. He also enjoyed gardening and drawing. Steve worked at Parkway Pharmacy in the photo lab for 25 years. He made many friends while working there and considered them his second family. He was very conscientious about his work and would go to great lengths to make certain every customer was pleased. Steve is survived by his loving wife Jessie. He is also survived by one sister Sherry Howard and husband Mike of Ermine, an aunt Linda Addington Clark and husband David of Whitesburg, nephews Jacob Sexton and wife Katelyn of Mayking, Jared Sexton of Indiana, Adam Howard of Whitesburg and a niece Tasha Bailiff and husband Cory of Ermine. Great nieces Willow Sexton, Amara Sexton, and David Ruth Bailiff. Great nephews Tyson Sexton and Abrahm Bailiff. He is also survived by a lifelong friend Gabe Craft who was like a brother to him. Funeral: 1:00 O'clock P.M. Saturday, February 24, 2024 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Cory Bailiff officiating. Visitation: 11:00 A.M. Saturday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery at Whitesburg, Kentucky.
