Sybil Madge (Ingram) Whitaker

Sybil Madge Whitaker, 84 of Roxana, passed away Saturday, January 4, 2025, at the Hazard Appalachian Regional Healthcare Center. Sybil was the daughter of the late Kidd and Carrie Frazier Ingram. She was the widow of Landon Whitaker. Surviving are her 2 sons: Mitch Whitaker and Ivan (Tonya) Whitaker; 7 grandchildren: Sarah (Josh) Watkins, Mitch (Brandi) Whitaker, Rebecca Whitaker, Dorothy (Devin) Gaither Wright, Thomas (Krisey) Whitaker, Lacy Whitaker, and Amanda Whitaker; 8 great grandchildren: Boone, Landon, Wyatt, Ivan, Delilah, Teaghan, Axel, and Harley along with a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. Sybil was preceded in death by 1 son: Timothy; 1 daughter in law: Gwen Whitaker. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, January 9, 2025, at 1:00 O'clock P.M. at the Premium Baptist Church with Tony Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the Whitaker Cemetery at Roxana, Kentucky. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at the Premium Baptist Church from 6:00 P.M. - 10:00 P.M.
