Tabitha Laverne Back, 46 of Colson, passed away Monday, January 4, 2021 at the Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Healthcare Center. Tabitha was the daughter of Janice Taylor Gibson of Rockhouse and the late Dewey Wayne Gibson. Surviving other than her mother is her husband: Robert Back; 1 daughter: Leah Danielle (Jason Eckels) Gibson of Jeremiah; 2 sons: Justin Ryan (Kelly) Gibson of Kona and Phillip James Back of Colson; 1 stepson: Robert Andrew Back of Louisville; 2 sisters: Cheryl Gibson of Pinetop and Rebecca Lynn (Vernon) Duncan of Cleveland, Tennessee; 1 brother: Gregory Wayne Gibson of Rockhouse; 2 grandchildren: Gabriel Eckels and Madeline Eckels; niece: Hannah Adams; nephew: Dylan Duncan; best friend: Deanna Adams. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel.
