Tammy Delene Cornett, 56 of Thornton, passed away Sunday, May 9, 2021 at her residence. Tammy was the daughter of Lorrene Shepherd Dixon of Little Colley and the late Hobert Dixon. Tammy was a nurse at the Hazard Veterans Clinic for 11 years. Surviving other than her mother is her husband: Greg Cornett; 1 daughter: Lori Delene (Matt) Hopkins of Pelion, South Carolina; 1 son: Seth Cornett of Thornton; 1 brother: Scott (Barb) Dixon of Blackey; 1 sister: Amanda (James) Mullins of Sandlick; 1 grandchild on the way; nieces and nephews: Holly Roark, Justin Dixon, Zack Dixon, Jake Dixon along with a host of great nieces and nephews. Tammy was preceded in death by 1 brother: Marty Dixon. Funeral: 1:00 O'clock P.M. Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Jordan Honeycutt and Buford Combs officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Tuesday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Dixon Cemetery at Turkey Creek, Kentucky.
