Timothy Schyler Sexton

Timothy "Schyler" Sexton, age 36, of Gardendale, Texas passed away on Wednesday, February 4, 2026. He was a devoted son, an extraordinary brother, and a loyal friend whose presence brought comfort, laughter, and strength to those around him. 

Schyler was, above all else, an incredible brother. He shared an unbreakable bond with his brother and best friend, Tanner. Their relationship was built on loyalty, shared memories, and an understanding that needed no words. Schyler was the kind of brother who protected fiercely, showed up without being asked, and stood steady no matter what life brought. That bond was one of the greatest joys of his life. 

Known for his kind heart, gentle spirit, and easy smile, Schyler lived with authenticity and quiet confidence. He valued  family above all else and had a way of making people feel safe, seen, and accepted. His strength wasn't loud-but it was constant.

Schyler is survived by his loving parents, Tim and Angie Sexton and his brother and best friend, Tanner Sexton, plus a host of beloved family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his great grandparents, grandparents, Wanda Williams, Doug Sexton, and Agnus Sexton and a beloved cousin, Michael Hogg, whose memory he carried close to his heart.
