Tommy Wayne Combs

Tommy Wayne Combs, 78 of Letcher, passed away Saturday, August 9, 2025, at the Hazard Appalachian Regional Healthcare Center. Tommy was the son of the late Ishmel and Marie Irene Combs. Surviving are his wife of 57 years: Nettie Mosley Combs; 1 son: Tommy Wayne "Mattie" Combs Jr. of Somerset; 1 daughter: Angela (Douglas) Adams of Letcher; 1 sister: Gathelee Terrell of New York; 4 grandchildren: Dalton Wayne Combs, William Jacob Collins, Andrew Layne Collins, Landon Grace; 5 great grandchildren: Blakely Marie Collins, Autum Grace, Bentley Grace, Brantley Grace, and Layton Grace along with a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. Tommy was preceded in death by 1 sister: Ollie Marie Elkins. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 O'clock P.M. Thursday, August 14, 2025, at the Jeremiah Missionary Baptist Church with Caleb Combs officiating. Burial will follow in the Combs Family Cemetery at Letcher, Kentucky. Visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. - 10:00 P.M. Tuesday, August 12, 2025, and all day Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at the Jeremiah Missionary Baptist Church.
