Tony "Red Eye" Wilson

Tony "Red Eye" Wilson, 57 of Whitco, passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at his residence, surrounded by his loving family and friends. He is survived by his parents: Sharmayn and Daryl Hale of Whitco; stepmother: Mary Katherine Wilson of Whitesburg; 2 daughters: Megan Jo Wilson of Whitesburg, Tennessee and Morgan Neil (Jordan) Ryan of Lexington; 2 brothers:Toby (Jessica) Maggard of Kingscreek; Greg (Kim) Hale of Whitco; 2 sisters: Tracy (Barry) Miles of Cowan and Annie (John) Collins of Wilmore; 3 grandchildren: Emma, Allie and Blake; 9 nephews and nieces: Austin (Naomi), Tanner (Kirstie), Tayler, Charlee, Mikey, Nakeia, Cager, Conner and Cainan; 3 uncles: Allen (Brenda), Larry (Elvenia) and Greg (Vivian); 1 aunt: Marylyn Stewart; a special sister: Renee Campbell. Tony was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Arlie & Avis Boggs; paternal grandparents: Frank and Lillie Wilson; father: Earnest Wilson; aunt: Alice Boggs. Tony enjoyed life to the fullest and was a friend to all who he met. He took pride in his job and loved his work family like his own.  Funeral: 1:00 O'clock P.M. Friday, January 26, 2024 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Bill Craft and Jimmy Dotson officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Thursday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Green Acres Cemetery at Ermine, Kentucky.
