Truman Jent, 77 of Carcassonne, passed away Sunday, July 26, 2020 at his residence. Truman was the son of the late Tommy and Belle Bailey Jent. Surviving is his wife: Lucille Rose Jent; 3 sons: Evan Jent of Carcassonne, Christopher Jent of Somerset, and Truman B. (Sheila) Jent Jr. of Hazard; 1 daughter: Fawn (Doug) Adams of Somerset; 3 brothers: Raymond Jent of Blackey, Beckham Jent of Blackey, and Crit Jent of Michigan; 2 sisters: Alice Combs of Redfox and Jossie Ison of Ohio; 2 grandchildren: Jatanna Grifie and Keshia (Hubie Brock) Jent; great grandchildren: Dylan Halcomb, Savannah Halcomb, Emmaleigh Brock, Carmen Griffie, Gaige Brock, Lillie Brock, and Maddox Brock. Truman was preceded in death by 1 brother: Roger Jent; 4 sisters: Mable Collins, Lillian Combs, Jessie Collins, and Margaret Jent; 1 grandson: Johnathan Griffie. Funeral: 1:00 O'clock P.M. Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at the Little Bull Creek Old Regular Baptist Church with David Jent, Earl Combs, Elwood Cornett, Jim Fields, and Marcus Combs officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Tuesday at the Little Bull Creek Old Regular Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Jent Cemetery at Carcassonne, Kentucky.
