Vera Edith (Hall) Anderson

Vera Edith Hall Anderson beloved daughter, wife, sister, and aunt, passed away on February 19th, 2026. She was 77 years old. Vera was born on September 9th, 1948 to Benjamin Harrison Hall and Sadie Imel Fife Hall. She was the eighth child born out of ten children. She married Burl Anderson on July 22nd, 1983. He preceded her in death. She was a great cook and loved to collect angels. She was a Church of Christ member.  She was a second mother to all of her many nieces and nephews. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin and Sadie Hall.  She is preceded in death by sisters: Patty J. Elson, Bonnie E. Collins, Ernestene Bentley, Lillian Y. Fisher and brothers: Douglas M. Hall, John L. Hall and Hubert H. Hall. 

Surviving her are sisters: Billie L. Fryman and Diane K. Pilkenton. Many nieces and nephews survive her.  She was a ray of sunshine, and we will miss “Old Yeller”, Vera’s nickname.

Funeral: 1:00 O'clock P.M. Saturday, February 28, 2026 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation: 11:00 A.M. Saturday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Green Acres Cemetery at Ermine, Kentucky.
