Verna Kay Combs, 69 of Isom, passed away Monday, November 6, 2023 at Whitesburg A.R.H. Verna was the daughter of the late Vernon and Oma Bailey. Verna was the widow of Joe Combs. Surviving is 1 Daughter: Nashae Combs of Isom; 4 Brothers: Rick Bailey of Whitesburg, Craig Bailey of Isom, David Bailey of Topmost and Josh Bailey of Isom; 5 Sisters: Kathy Adams of Whitesburg, Ivealue Collins of Isom, Shirley Cook of Dry Fork, Brenda Adams of London and Alisha Gail Brock of Isom; She is also survived by Her Fur Baby: Cooper. Verna was preceded in death by 2 Brothers: Andy Bailey and Rocky Bailey. Funeral 12:00 O'clock Noon Thursday, November 9, 2023 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Randy Way officiating. Visitation: 6 P.M. Wednesday November 8, 2023. Burial will follow in the Combs Cemetery at Little Colley, Kentucky.
