Vicki Adams Obituary

Vicki Kincer Adams, 60, arrived home with her savior on September 15, 2022.
She was born April 9, 1962 to David and Roberta Kincer in Whitesburg, Kentucky. She was a 1980 graduate of Fleming-Neon High School.
Vicki worked in retail for 25+ years in retail, and she very much enjoyed the work and all the people she met along her path.
One of her most cherished community involvements was her membership in the Mayking Baptist Church. She was a very active participant of the congregation and cherished being with her “church family”.
She was also a member of ICAN (I Care About Neighbors), and was always grateful for her neighbors for rallying around her.
Vicki had been battling cancer since 1991 and had an incredibly difficult journey throughout. Despite this, she never once wavered in her faith in her God, friends, and family. She greeted every day with a positive attitude and a compassionate heart despite living with several different kinds of cancer.
She gave her thanks to four primary doctors who assisted so greatly in her cancer battle - Dr Byron Thomas, Dr Fred Ueland, Dr Sam Bailey, and Dr Don Stacey.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her beloved son and greatest joy, Dallas Gregory Adams II (D).
She is survived by an army of loving and supportive friends- among whom are Vicki Watts, Coleen Hart, Randall and Kathy Baker, Shirley McLean, Lulabelle Caudill, Gina Wright, Kristen Thompson, Brenda Kincer, Alberta Perry,  Milette McCray, Greg and Connie Adams, and the entire Adams family.
Additionally, she is survived by her brother Gene Edward Kincer of Mayking, her niece who she viewed as a sister, Tristy Sheryll Kincer (Will) of Whitesburg, her great-niece Kelsie Cornett of Kingsport, TN, her great-nephews who she considered sons - William Haddix Day (Annabel), Justin Tyler Bowling, both of Ashland, Conner Ryland Bowling of Whitesburg, and a “grand dog” Rocco of Mayking.

Funeral: 1:00 O'clock P.M. Sunday, September 18, 2022 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Tim Monshon officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Saturday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Webb Cemetery at Mayking, Kentucky.
