Virginia Lee (Thomas) Gibson

Virginia Lee Gibson, born on 8-7-1946 in Barlow Branch, Kentucky, resided in Jenkins, Kentucky at the time of her passing. She was preceded in death by her husband: Millard Gibson; and by 1 son: John Henry Thomas; and by her father: Greenberry Thomas; mother: Cora Lee Thomas; one niece: Sandra Jean Colwell of Austin, Indiana. She is survived by her son: Timothy Allen Thomas of Neon, Kentucky; 2 nieces: Brenda Thomas Norton and Tressia Ann Collier both of Scottsburg, Indiana; special friend: Starla Deardoff of Neon, Kentucky along with a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 O'clock P.M. on Monday, May 11, 2026, at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Danny Quillen officiating. Burial will follow in the Payne Gap Cemetery at Payne Gap, Kentucky. Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. - 10:00 P.M. with additional services at 7:00 P.M. on Sunday, May 10, 2026, at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel.
