Vivian Frances (Bentley) Spangler

Vivian Frances Bentley Spangler was born to the late Edward F. Bentley and Lady Grey Wheeler Bentley on August 1st, 1935. She married Billy G. Spangler on July 17, 1952. She is Preceded in death by her loving husband, her parents and siblings, Glen Bentley (Brother) and Barbara Bentley (Sister).

She is survived by 2 sisters: Lois Altman of Louisville, Kentucky and Doris Potter of Greenfield, Indiana. Vivian was the mother of 3 children: Debbie Spangler (Mike) Hall of Mansfield, Georgia; Bill Edward (Sherlene) Spangler of Isom; Mark Allen (Deborah) Spangler of Jackhorn. She was the grandmother of 5: Jennifer Hall (Jason) Holloway; Timothy Hall, Andrew Spangler; Rachel Spangler (Seth) Whitaker; Teena Wiery; Great Grand Children: Austin Michael Holloway, Slade Edward Holloway, Hudson Whitaker, Anna Wiery and Elizabeth Wiery. 

She was a longtime member of the Hemphill Freewill Baptist Church. She was an avid quilt maker and enjoyed oil painting. She was loved and will surely be missed by her entire family.

Visitation will be from 5-8 P.M. Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at the Hemphill Freewill Baptist Church 2580 Kentucky Rd 317, Jackhorn Ky, 41825 with pastor Danny Hurst presiding. 

Funeral will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, October 5, 2023 at the Hemphill Freewill Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Green Acres Cemetery at Ermine, Ky.
