William F. Wilson (Bill) of Dry Fork, Kentucky passed from this life on Monday evening October 5, 2020, at his home. He was born September 5, 1945, being 75 years and 1 month at the time of his passing. He was the son of the late Robert R. (Buddy) and Lucy Mae Wilson. Bill Was preceded in death by brothers Robert Wilson, Dean Wilson, Henry Clay Wilson, Chester Lee Wilson, and Paul Avery Wilson.
Bill was married to the love of his life, Yvonne Williams on June 4, 1966. And she remained by his side until his passing. Their marriage was blessed with two children Cynthia and William.
Bill began working just out of high school as a car mechanic. He continued to support his family as a mechanic and then as a heavy machinery mechanic until his retirement. He enjoyed making things work that other people could not, to him it was like a puzzle, he would spend hours tinkering on them. He enjoyed fishing, sitting on the back porch watching the birds, squirrels, and dear play, and spending time with his family.
Bill was baptized on Christmas Day 1988. He had attended church regularly since that day. His love for the Lord was known and shown to others every day.
Bill is survived by his loving wife Yvonne, and their two children and their spouses: Cynthia and Stephen Trent and William and Brandy Wilson. He also leaves behind his very special grandson Trey Wilson, his bonus granddaughter Samantha Ratliff and two great-granddaughters. He is survived by one brother Randall, and seven sisters Eula Mae, Denva Gay, Deloris, Linda, Joyce, Mable, and Donna, who along with a multitude of nieces, nephews, family, and friends will morn his passing.
Graveside service Thursday, October 8, 2020 at 1:00 PM in the Green Acres Cemetery at Ermine, Kentucky.
