Willis Hampton

Willis Hampton, 80 of Thornton, passed away Sunday, December 10, 2023 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Center in Hazard, Kentucky. Willis was the son of the late Joseph and Molly Vance Hampton. He was the widower of Josephine Couch Hampton. Surviving is 4 children: Randy (Angie), Mikey (Leshia), Tony (Renee) and Amy Amburgey; grandchildren: Travis (Jamie), Cary (Lee), Michelle (CJ), Courtney (Paul), Tonya (Dylan), Gwendolyn (Jade), Megan (Doug), Jessica, DJ, Ryan and Jordan; great grandchildren: Bryan, Hayden, Bailey, Katelyn, Boston, Lilly, Kaylee, Nate, Madison, Carson, Lauren, Josei, Summer, Autumn and Everleigh; 1 brother: Ben Hampton. Willis was preceded in death by 1 grandchild: Cody along with a host of brothers and sisters. Funeral: 12:00 O'clock Noon Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Bill Craft officiating. Visitation: 12:00 Noon Wednesday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Hampton Cemtery at Campbranch, Kentucky.
