Wilma Fields, 87 of Whitesburg, passed away Saturday, September 2, 2023, at the Letcher Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Whitesburg. Wilma was the daughter of the late Gillis and Belle Coots Begley. She was the widow of Monroe Fields. They had been married since September 3, 1955. Wilma has been a Christian since she was 16, and now she has made it home. Surviving is 7 children: Roberta Brown of Sandlick, Wendell Fields of Sandlick, Robert Fields of Isom, Ronnie (NeShella) Fields of Sandlick, Donald (Patty) Fields of Whitesburg, Daniel (Kim) Fields of Sandlick, and Darrell (Susan) Fields of Isom; 2 brothers: Ray Begley of Campbranch and Leonard Begley both of Campbranch; 7 sisters: Lillie Mae Garrison, Athelene Parker, Edith White, Frances Honeycutt, Phyllis Combs, Kathy Parker, and Shirley Fleming; 11 grandchildren: Gabrielle, Kaleena, Jennifer, Justin, Gina, Christopher, Nicholas, Jarrett, Kaitlin, Matthew, and Cameron; 16 great grandchildren along with a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. Wilma was preceded in death by 4 brothers: Chester, Thermon, Tom, and Cecil. Funeral 11:00 O'clock A.M. Monday, September 4, 2023, at the Campbranch Pentecostal Holiness Church with Ray Begley and Stephen Ratliff officiating. Visitation 6:00 P.M. - 10:00 P.M. Sunday, September 3, 2023, at the Campbranch Pentecostal Holiness Church. Burial will follow in the Kingdomcome Cemetery at Premium, Kentucky.
