Windus Dean "Ram" Collins, 75 of Thornton, passed away Thursday, September 5, 2024, at his residence. Windus was the son of the late Thurston and Mattie Sergent Collins. Surviving is his wife Rita Nickels Collins; 1 son: Mark (Jill) Collins of Elkton, Kentucky; 1 daughter: Candace "Candee" (Lonnie) Lewis of Partridge; 4 sisters: Norma Jean Adams, Virgie Halcomb, twin sister: Pauline Bates and Alexis Gayle Franklin; 5 grandchildren: Chase, Garret (Julie), Erica (Chris Driskell), Austin (Alexis), and Jadon; 2 great grandchildren: Gage and Rylie; his dog: Girl Baby along with a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. Windus was preceded in death by 7 brothers and 5 sisters. Funeral 3:00 O'clock P.M. Saturday, September 7, 2024, at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Bill Craft and Cecil Howard officiating. Visitation 2:00 P.M. - 3:00 P.M. Saturday, September 7, 2024, at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Green Acres Cemetery at Ermine, Kentucky.
