Carolyn was my younger sister. When she was a child, I labeled her as a prissy young girl. I was jealous of her. I was shy and she was outgoing. We had problems as children, but later i became closer and connected as KY wildcat bb fans later.
At 80 i began to relish my relationship with her with more love and caring.
I also began thinking about our family and out mortality.
. Our mother died of TB in 1945.
Our father died in 1964 of lung cancer.. Russel, our youngest brother died of lung cancer in 1987. George, our oldest brother and our hero, died of lung cancer in 1992. Carolyn died of lung cancer in 2017. They were all smokers.
I will remember Carolyn as a "free spirit". I will miss her but i know that she and Jack Reed Hall produced three other "free spirits", Pam, Suzanne and Rhonda.
