Edward Culbert Fields of Cowan passed away Friday, December 2, 2016 in Greenfield, Indiana. Edward was the son of the late Culbert and Easter Mitchell Fields.He was born June 30, 1944 being 72 years, 3 months, and 2 days of age at the time of his passing. Surviving is 1 daughter: Renia Fay (Walter) Hughes of Greenfield, Indiana; 3 sons: Edward J.(Joanne) Fields of Cumberland, George Alan (Laura) Fields of Jenkins, and Frank (Lisa) Fields of Cowan; 5 grandchildren: Lee, Sarah, David, Donnie, and Dakota; host of great grandchildren; 5 sisters: Geneva Amburgey of Yulee, Florida, Viola Boggs of Lynce, Kentucky, Marie Anna Pendleton of Whitesburg, Mary Lou Hale of Yulee, Florida, Lena Anderson of Granite Falls, North Carolina, and Nadine Haynes of Whitesburg; 3 brothers: Melvin Fields of Clay City, Millard Fields of Frankfort, and Wendall Fields of Granite Falls, North Carolina. Edward was preceded in death by his wife of 31 years: Allie Fields; 3 sisters: Wanda Taulbee, Louise Pittman, and Lilly Mae Begley. Funeral: 2:00 O'clock P.M. Monday, December 5, 2016 at the Cowan Chapel Church with Ted Collins officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Saturday at the Cowan Chapel Church. Burial will follow in the Obie Fields Cemetery at Cowan, Kentucky.
