James "Red" Bailey, 69, of Isom passed away Saturday, March 25, 2017 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. James was the son of the late Bill and Judy Logan Bailey. Surviving is his wife: Justine Whitaker Bailey; 1 son: Anthony Bailey of Slemp; 1 daughter: Mallie Lewis of Spartanburg, South Carolina; 3 brothers: Eugene Bailey of Delphia, Dan Bailey of Hazard, and Edward Bailey of Wooton; 4 sisters: Alma Suffridge of Leatherwood, Thelma Campbell of Delphia, Alpha Mays of Cumberland, and Ethel Turner of Cornettsville; 5 grandchildren: Danny Bailey, T.J. Mosley, Mikey Sexton, Jamie (Shawn) Barger, and Brandy Lewis; 1 great grandchild: Colton Bailey. James was preceded in death by 1 brother: Boyd Bailey; 1 sister: Fearby Boggs. Funeral: 11:00 O'clock A.M. Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at the Stony Fork Church with Danny Dixon and Jim Fields officiating. Visitation: 7:00 PM Monday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel and 12:00 Noon Tuesday at the Stony Fork Church. Burial will follow in the Watts Cemetery at Hallie, Kentucky.
