Dear Joy, my dear friend from girlhood.
I'm so very sorry to hear of Richie's death. Since I live so far away, I don't know any details, but when I make it back to Craft's Colly, I will visit you. Perhaps we can have lunch and talk. You were such a dear friend and our families were so close when we were growing up. Again you have my most profound sympathy. I will keep you in my prayers. Love you still, Betty
