Robert Mitchell Spangler, 63, of Thornton passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at his residence. Mitchell was the son of the late George and Hazel Kincer Spangler. Surviving is his companion: Audrey Lucas; 1 son: Robert Lee Spangler of Midway; 1 daughter: Shileena Spangler of Newport, Tennessee; 3 brothers: George Spangler Jr. of Mt. View Arkansas, Manuel Lee Spangler of Vackaville, California, and Ronald Spangler of Somerset; 2 sisters: Zona Claytor of Mansfield, Ohio and Saranell Caudill of Whitesburg; 2 grandchildren: Isiah Chase Spangler and Alivia Kayden Spangler. Mitchell was preceded in death by 1 brother: James Nelson Spangler. Funeral: 1:00 O'clock P.M. Saturday, May 14, 2016 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Brian Fulcher officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Friday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Green Acres Cemetery at Ermine, Kentucky.
