Bill W. Baker, 76, of McRoberts passed away Thursday, July 28, 2016 at the Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Healthcare Center. Bill was the son of the late Wilson Woodrow and Allie Louis Baker. Surviving is his wife: Peggy Sparks Baker; 3 sons: David Baker of Newport, Tennessee, Danny Baker of Whitesburg, and Bill Baker of McRoberts; 1 daughter: Lacy Tolx of White Pine, Tennessee; 1 brother: Curtis Dwight Baker of Louisville; 3 sisters: Louise Gossett of Richmond, Indiana, Joyce Grigsby of Ohio, and Adam Lucille Mullins of Pikeville; 13 grandchildren: Derek, David Jr., Tabitha, Abierum, PJ Wright, Samantha, Daniel, Austin, Hunter, Braden, Harper, and Laila; 8 great grandchildren. Bill was preceded in death by 1 sister: Ena Faye Potter. Funeral: 2:00 O'clock P.M. Sunday, July 31, 2016 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Bill Craft officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Saturday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Green Acres Cemetery at Ermine, Kentucky.
